Terry Dale has resigned as president and CEO of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Dale has been in the position since 2003.
Under Dale’s leadership, CLIA has reached over 17,000 travel professionals to be qualified as cruise counselors. Dale also oversaw the merger of CLIA with ICCL and a relocation of the association from New York to Fort Lauderdale.
Dale called his resignation a “personal decision” to “set sail on a new voyage.” He will remain with CLIA through the end December, when his current contract expires, to give the Executive Committee time to find a replacement.
